FUTURE GROWTH
In order for our organization to keep up with the never ending flow of abandon, abused and puppy mill/breeder dogs we
must establish/build a facility. This has been a long though-out plan, and we are prepared to move forward.

Foster homes are not easy to come by and are very limited on the number of dogs they can take in. SSTR is one of the
very few organizations in the area that actually take in large numbers of dogs from hoarding and puppy mill seizures.

Our goal is to incorporate a spay/neuter clinic with our facility, allowing us to help reduce the number of unwanted pets
KILLED in shelters. We have already set up a plan with two veterinarians in our area to help with the clinic.

NOW WE NEED THE FUNDING
We plan on applying for GRANTS in addition to our fund raising. However, we must have some of the funds raised
before we apply for grants.

		Talladega County (AL) PUPPY MILL BUST dba NANNY'S ZOO

	Over 200 dogs were rescued from this puppy mill bust- ALL these dogs required major social rehab and extensive vet care. They suffered from scalding urine/fecal burns, mange, eye infections, major dental infections, malnourishment and some were lame from genetic issues. PLEASE HELP US CONTINUE OUR RESCUE EFFORTS! 	We opened a TEMPORARY Kennel to help house these little dogs. We knew someone like YOU would be willing to give them a second chance to a loving, forever home- They can't stay in a kennel forever!! We are running out of MONEY to provide KENNEL care for these babies! These babies are very social and affectionate. They are so deserving of loving forever homes. They have been in rescue care since Sept 21, 2008, in a temporary kennel facility. They REALLY need to be in their forever homes. Angel was rescued from a kill shelter as a little puppy-
she was born with a birth defect to her front legs
In order for Angel to get around better she needs
a front wheel cart- We don't want to say it will make
her more normal, because she is PERFECT to us
and her new family! We had to wait until Angel got around 6-7 months
old before we could order her custom Front Wheel Cart
