| SSTR is a 501c 3 Non-Profit charity organization, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming and providing sanctuary care for abandoned, abused and homeless toy breeds. |
| FUTURE GROWTH In order for our organization to keep up with the never ending flow of abandon, abused and puppy mill/breeder dogs we must establish/build a facility. This has been a long though-out plan, and we are prepared to move forward. Foster homes are not easy to come by and are very limited on the number of dogs they can take in. SSTR is one of the very few organizations in the area that actually take in large numbers of dogs from hoarding and puppy mill seizures. Our goal is to incorporate a spay/neuter clinic with our facility, allowing us to help reduce the number of unwanted pets KILLED in shelters. We have already set up a plan with two veterinarians in our area to help with the clinic. NOW WE NEED THE FUNDING We plan on applying for GRANTS in addition to our fund raising. However, we must have some of the funds raised before we apply for grants. |
